The Longtail trolls are a particularly pleasant little family of trolls.
They live in hollow trees, mountain hidey-holes and mossy tussocks, deep in the
woods where the mist forms a mysterious blanket over the tree roots and heather.
The Longtail trolls are small, with bristly, sticky-up troll hair – and long,
beautiful tails. Now you’ll hear it said that trolls can’t stand the sun,
and instantly turn to stone. But that’s not the case with the Longtail trolls!
Every day they drink a magic herbal potion, so that they can prance around in
the sun as much as they wish.
Apart
from that, the Longtail trolls are just like most other trolls. They spend
their time trolling, finding treasure and in between – they help the folk
living on the farms thereabouts. That is – of course – without them knowing
anything about it! Trolls prefer not to come face to face with humans, because
they have a curious habit of tricking the trolls and taking their treasure,
which the trolls – funnily enough – aren’t too happy about.
The Longtail trolls have very different and special personalities – plus rather unusual, magical talents. Here comes a little presentation about the funny little creatures that live in the woods and mountains.
